Not Just for Den Leaders!
While some courses are meant specifically for
Den Leaders, anyone can take training
courses offered through the BSA.
There is online training offered as well,
including Youth Protection which all leaders are

A New Scouting
Year Begins
Year Begins
Pack 236 begins a new year and will
soon welcome a new class of boys
ready to explore the many activities of
scouting.
We encourage parents with
elementary age boys with an interest in
becoming part of a 78 year tradition of
positively influencing character
development, encouraging
sportsmanship, and helping boys
develop habits and attitudes of good
citizenship to consider joining scouts.

Join Scouts Night : Informational Meeting for
all interested Parents and Scouts - Sept. 18

All interested scouts and their parents are invited to attend "Join Scouts
Night," a meeting that will provide detailed information about how Cub
Scouts operates, how fund raising works and the many activities scouts
participate in Pack 236.
Where: Sayre Elementary, Cafeteria
When: Thursday, September 18 at 7:00 pm
Feel free to bring all members of the family as we will
have quiet activities for kids during the meeting with parents.

PumpkinFest Parade, Float and Booth
Again this year, Pack 236 will have a booth at the PumkinFest Activity Area.
This booth is completely run by our scouts. They will run the games, hand
out prizes and show the community what a great group of scouts we have in
Pack 236. We are looking for a parent or two to organize the games and Gary
